We are looking for an efficient and enthusiastic part time Art Technician to support the Art teachers prior to and during lessons to enable the smooth running of the Department.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in art and design and an enthusiasm for working with young people. Experience of photography and textiles would be an advantage. Art is a successful department at Wycombe Abbey and you will be joining a well-qualified team who are passionate about their subject.
Hours of Work:
31.5 hours per week Monday to Friday during Wycombe Abbey term time (including INSET) plus three weeks during the School holidays to ensure that the department is prepared at the beginning of term and packed away at the end of each term, and to support exhibitions. Please note that flexibility is required as working times may change from year to year according to the timetable. The role will require some evening duties to support private study in the Department, working until 7.30pm on two evenings per week. Availability to attend and support some weekend workshops is desirable. A one hour unpaid lunch break is included during each shift.
Salary:
£16,748 - £21,636 per annum (FTE of £25,217 - £32,783)
